Assessor

The Town of Wethersfield Assessor's Office prides itself as an outreach administrative office not only for our taxpayers, but various area real estate professionals and prospective buyers and sellers.

Building

The Building Inspection Department enforces all building codes, acts and regulations. The department inspects all phases of construction, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing , structural installations and acts as consultant to other town departments and agencies.

Elections

The Elections office supervises all elections, primaries, and referenda, and maintains accurate records of names and addresses of all voters in the Town of Wethersfield.

Emergency Management

The mission of the Town of Wethersfield, Office of Emergency Management (OEM) and the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), is to effectively coordinate the preparation, response and recovery efforts of Town, State and Federal resources when hazardous or emergency conditions, potentially impact our community.

Fire Marshal

The Fire Marshal’s office is a department within the Town of Wethersfield Public Safety Division. The office is mandated by Connecticut General Statutes to enforce the Connecticut Fire Safety Code, the Connecticut Fire Prevention Code and to investigate all fires and explosions within the town.

Human Resources

The Department of Human Resources, located in the Town Manager's office, is responsible for planning, developing and administering human resources and labor relations, and for directing quality improvement programs, practices and activities for the town as well as employee training and development, safety and health, and recognition efforts.

Information Technology Services

The Information Technology Services Division maintains and administers the central town computer systems and networks. It also supports users in day-to-day use of information technology, and maintains the town web site.
