Local Tax Exemptions for Veterans
Veterans who served during wartime may be eligible for a reduction in the assessed value of their property. The Assessor's page has details, along with the necessary forms.
Wethersfield Veterans Commission
On September 1, 2018, the Town Council created a Veterans Commission with the purpose "…to assist and advise the town and its residents on veterans' issues…" Please see the Veterans Commission page to learn more.

The Department of Veterans Affairs portal connects veterans, current service members and their families to a wide-ranging directory of services the state provides. Their CTVeterans Mobile App provides quick access to this information, plus it allows Connecticut veterans and residents to access crisis assistance by phone, text, and online chat.
