Calling All Volunteer

Volunteer Orientations 

Ages 13+.  Seniors, adults, interns, and students may volunteer in a variety of ways.  Orientation introduces seasonal programs and events, on-going  volunteer opportunities, explains volunteer roles, responsibilities and expectations, and provides basic safety training. Volunteer Orientations are scheduled by appointment. Please contact the Nature Center at (860)721-2780

An EBW Nature Center Volunteer Manual can be picked up at the Nature Center or download the manual.  The last 2 sheets of the volunteer manual must be completed, signed and returned before a participant can start volunteering.  Once all of the necessary paperwork has been processed, our Volunteer Coordinator will be in contact to set-up a schedule.  Please note there is an additional volunteer contract specifically for animal care which is handed out during volunteer orientations.
