The Annual Bicycle Festival/ Show / Swap Meet

The event includes all styles and vintages of bicycles. There is something for every cycling enthusiast, and a great place to swap, sell, or buy extra parts and bicycle related items. Also there are people showing off their bikes, sharing stories, and generally having a good time. Riding groups, clubs, and organizations can also come to connect with folks in the cycling community. Some groups have organized rides afterwards as Historic Old Wethersfield is a great place to start a bicycle ride of any length.

It is family friendly and includes workshops for changing flat tires, a "problem sad bike" where kids can spot the problems to earn a mechanic’s moustache sticker, a carnival like sideshow display of unusual and notorious bicycle parts, and we’re planning a safety activity for kids. We have had folks from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, New York, and Rhode Island attend. The event is rain or shine.

It is FREE for visitors, and only $25 dollars for a seller's spot. If you would like to promote your club/organization you can set up a space for free, (but if you are selling things we'd ask for the $25 donation as this is our only fundraiser for the year.)
