Wethersfield Farmers' Market Opening Day!

This season will feature 30+ vendors including 11 farms offering fresh produce, fruit, jams, pasture-raised meats, wines & ciders, fresh cut flower bouquets, cheese, milk, honey, maple syrup, goat soaps and lotions. Live music every week and food trucks. Specialty food vendors and local artisans. More info!

Living History: The Interview

The Interview uses Escape Room style puzzles, drama, and humor to bring to life the stories of those who lived in, worked in, and frequented the Hurlbut-Dunham House during the Great Depression. More info!

The tour, through the ornamental foreground and historic memorial sections of Cedar Hill, will highlight rare and notable trees. More info!

Community Historian John Mills returns with a detailed update on his extensive research into the life of Connecticut’s Prince Mortimer. John will also talk about several upcoming projects surrounding individuals with similar untold stories. More info!

Learn what the gravestones have to say about colonial life in Wethersfield and the history of Wethersfield from the lives of the people who lived here. More info!

Join the WDS for Connecticut's Historic Gardens Day! Enjoy refreshments, gardening tips. and a tour of the Amy Cogswell Colonial Revival Garden on our museum campus. The garden event is free to the public. Regular admission applies for guided house tours and exhibitions. More info!
