GMCT Brisk Winter Walk

Follow the trail along the marsh and around the loop past the 18th century house site. Hike will continue across the culvert by the Pond, and out along the edge of the farm fields. See for more info and full schedule!

In this 6 week class, advance your skills in watercolor expression for the natural world. For beginner through experienced artists. More info!

Bargue/ Cast Drawing

Students will draw with the Charles Bargue discipline to train your eye to see. This is also a great refresher for experienced artists. Includes Bargue plates. More info!

"The River, The Sound, and The Sea"

Here about Wethersfield’s role in the competition for the trade of Long Island Sound among Europeans and Native Americans; the West Indies trade and its basis in slavery; and the evolution of trade into the 19th Century. More info!

Oli Painting Still Life or Mastercopy

Learn to paint realistically with the oil paint medium. Everyone will work at their own pace, allowing both beginners and experienced painters to join. This class is appropriate for teens through adults. More info!

GMCT Brisk Winter Walk

See habitat improvements made with the help of a WHIP grant and volunteer work. Stay for a longer walk, another two and a half hours, up Hartford Ave. and out along the Hartford dike that divides the Folly Brook Nature area from the South Meadows Industrial Park. See for more info and full schedule!

GMCT Brisk Winter Walk

Walkers will stroll down Main Street to the Cove Park and out to the River’s edge. The Wolf Moon will rise above the trees on the eastern shore, giving a luster to the river below, as the sunset fades in the west. See for more info and full schedule!
