Volunteers supplement the Parks and Recreation Department and allow the department to bring creativity and vitality to its programs and offerings. Consider donating your time and joining the ranks of the many dedicated people already volunteering.
The Wethersfield Parks & Recreation Department has additional volunteer opportunities including Special Events, Cleanup of Parks, Environment and Nature Projects, Aquatics and many, many more. By volunteering, individuals have the benefit of learning new skills, meeting new friends, building resumes and giving back to the community. Groups are also welcomed. Contact the Parks & Recreation Department at (860) 721-2890 for further information or complete and submit our online General Volunteer Application.
